Japan America Society of Kentucky

The Japan America Society of Kentucky (JASK) is a nonprofit membership organization based in Frankfort, KY, dedicated to fostering business and cultural connections between Japan and Kentucky. Since 1987, JASK has served as a vital bridge for nearly 210 Japanese and American corporations representing all sectors of the business world, including manufacturers, law firms, accounting firms, construction companies, trading companies, airlines, and banks throughout the commonwealth.

JASK provides comprehensive member services and programs designed to strengthen professional relationships and facilitate business development. Corporate members gain access to exclusive benefits including complimentary consulting services on Japanese etiquette, protocol, and business practices, with customized on-site training available. The organization maintains a members-only database with contact information for leaders in JASK member companies, enabling valuable networking opportunities. JASK also offers referral services for translation and interpretation, as well as bilingual staffing support.

As a member of the National Association of Japan/America Societies (NAJAS), JASK provides corporate members access to a network of 38 Japan/America Societies nationwide, including a job/resume database and comprehensive directory of Japan resources. The organization hosts diverse programming throughout the year, from business networking socials and seminars to cultural events and the annual Japan Summer Family Festival. JASK's volunteer Board of Directors, composed of representatives from leading Kentucky businesses, ensures the organization remains responsive to the needs of the Kentucky-Japan business community.
