The Japan America Society of Michigan and Southwestern Ontario is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening professional and business relationships between Americans, Canadians, and Japanese nationals operating in the Detroit, MI region and beyond. Established in 1989 as a 501(c)(3) corporation, the Society serves as a vital networking hub for corporations, manufacturers, research and development operations, trading companies, transportation firms, financial institutions, and professional service providers including accounting and law firms.
