Hokka Nichi Bei Kai (Japanese American Association of Northern California) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Japanese language education, cultural programming, and fostering goodwill between the United States and Japan in the San Francisco, CA community. Operating since its formation in 2000 through the merger of two historic organizations, this association provides comprehensive cultural services and facilities for Japanese Americans and those interested in Japanese heritage.

The organization excels in hosting Japanese language speech contests for both children and adults, supporting linguistic development across age groups. A particular area of distinction is maintaining one of the finest traditional tea ceremony facilities (Chashitsu) outside of Japan, offering authentic cultural experiences to the Bay Area. Beyond these specialties, Hokka Nichi Bei Kai serves as a resource hub for Japanese cultural programming and activities, providing spaces and opportunities for community members and organizations to celebrate and share Japanese traditions.
