Nikkei Cultural Society

The Nikkei Cultural Society of Lethbridge and Area serves as the primary cultural hub for Japanese and Japanese Canadian heritage throughout Southern Alberta. Established in 2000, the organization provides comprehensive programming that celebrates Japanese culture, arts, and history through diverse activities and educational initiatives. The society coordinates a dynamic calendar of events including taiko workshops, judo tournaments, language instruction through the Japanese Language and Heritage School, and traditional celebrations such as the Bon Odori festival and Keirokai seniors' dinner.
